Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade Scenarios
Ethereum’s Shanghai upgrade is set to occur on April 12th, allowing investors to begin unstaking ETH.
In this thread, DannyCrypto summarizes the main scenarios that could play out following the upgrade.
Layer 2s Collecting Big Fees
My friend Andy pointed out cumulative fees collected by Layer 2 blockchains have increased significantly since the fall.
DefiLlama Unlocks Page
DefiLlama added a new page that displays upcoming token unlocks.
They’re already tracking over 40 tokens. Use this page to avoid buying tokens with a large upcoming unlock.
Arbitrum Maintains Daily Active Addresses Post-Airdrop
Arbitrum daily active addresses have held steady around 170K for the past 2 weeks. Despite concerns that many users of the chain were airdrop farmers, the current number of active addresses is still significantly higher than it was prior to the airdrop.

Coingecko Airdrop?
The crypto world has been awash with airdrop speculation since the ARB airdrop last month. One less-mentioned possibility is CoinGecko. In a cryptic tweet recently, CoinGecko hinted that it might be worthwhile to collect candies on their site.
Dinero Stablecoin
The gigabrains at Redacted Cartel are preparing to launch their ETH and staked ETH backed stablecoin known as Dinero. In this thread, Wajahat Mughal lays out what we know so far about Dinero:
Tool to Automate Crypto Taxes
For myself and much of my audience in the US, the most pressing thing in crypto this week is Tax Day. After trying a few different solutions, I settled on Koinly (affiliate link) to connect all of my wallet and exchange accounts to.
I do some complicated DeFi transactions, and Koinly didn’t get everything right, but it did 90% of the work for me.
That’s all for this week. For more frequent content, follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
Until next time,
